Tulsa Tough is a three-day cycling festival designed to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles while showcasing the city of Tulsa. With a number of new events and offerings for the 2007 festival, the site was also redesigned to include many new features. The resulting site design provides event information and details, community features, and online registration within a brand-consistent and visually-stimulating application.

Tulsa-based photographer Ace Cuervo needed a web presence for the wedding photography side of his business. Incorporating existing brand elements in a clean layout, the site features a simple photo gallery for potential clients to view Ace's photojournalism-style of wedding photography.

Graphex is an annual regional design competition sponsored by the Art Directors Club of Tulsa. I was commissioned to create the look and feel of Graphex 37, based on an existing object: a doll with a light bulb for a head. For the source photography, I used natural lighting. Extensive post-production work added texture, color, and overall drama.

Handmade handbags are Martique's core product offering, but the real story is in the people. Martique Designs commissions handmade items from Southeast Asia, providing opportunities for employment in areas which are economically struggling. For their site, it was important to communicate the personal stories of the artisans who produce their products while offering consumers a convenient way to purchase.

Dallas metal band Stir the Silence wanted a fresh design for their debut album, "As the World Burns." While some members of the band visualized a literal representation of the album title, they were easily talked out of this once they viewed this design. The resulting artwork has visual consistency, fits the band’s musical genre, and references the album title without going into literal detail.

The music of Sacramento-based Claire Voyant offers an elegant juxtaposition of powerful female vocals and hypnotic musical composition. Their logo is hand-illustrated with graceful typography; the identity mark combines a flower, flame and a gramophone tube to visually represent the band’s unique sound.

Ladysmith Village, a suburban development just north of Richmond, Virginia, wanted a site design representative of the community’s "small town charm". Using a soft, light color set, organic textures, and picturesque photography, the site’s clean layout conveys simplicity.

Madison, Wisconsin's electronic/hip-hop hybrid, Stromkern, wanted a new logo that would easily fit into the electronic and industrial music scenes while still standing out from the crowd. The simple, cropped block design provides an interesting solution which is both distinct and memorable.

Tasco Outdoor Products, a manufacturer of sporting optics, struggled to organize their extensive online catalog of products in a way that conformed to their brand identity. The solution is an easy-to-navigate design that fits the Tasco brand image of rugged, outdoor adventure.

“Hindsight” is the third and final single from Stromkern’s critically-acclaimed album "Light It Up". For this album, a simpler, more formal presentation is in keeping with the overall soft mood and emotion of the song. The new Stromkern logo was incorporated into the design, along with elegant typography and a nearly monochromatic color scheme.
